Role: Technology Delivery Architect/Enterprise Architect

The Technology Delivery Architect is a senior individual contributor responsible for providing the necessary leadership, program management and strategy planning related to the development of enterprise architecture and the setting of architectural direction across the Consumer and Small Business bank. Exhibits strong and effective thought leadership and technical architecture acumen. Will drive overall maturity of architecture discipline, practices and processes. The individual should be able to motivate and lead large virtual teams and influence at the enterprise level. The individual should have excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills and interact with an executive audience.

Must have a good background in software engineering discipline, have delivered multiple enterprise systems and understand complex business domains, preferably financial and/or related domains (insurance, mortgage etc.) Must have a track record of having participated in successful architecture programs involving large cross functional teams and domains. Experience practicing enterprise architecture methods resulting in measurable business value including roadmaps, blueprinting, domain reference architectures and standards management. Should have exposure to metrics driven governance programs. Should have worked with tools such as industry reference models, frameworks and EA or modeling repositories. Must be versed in Services Oriented Architecture concepts and practices. Must have a strong technology background to drive cross-functional teams to develop technology guidelines and standards to be adopted across the enterprise

Required Skills:
Must have domain experience in retail banking and/or credit card industry. Ability to assess & analyze enterprise application frameworks in use in Consumer bank's technology landscape. Facilitate integration of frameworks into holistic strategy and address architecture challenges
that are identified. Experience and some depth of knowledge with
application and/or technology roadmapping disciplines, including AS-IS & TO-BE architecture life cycle management. Thorough understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) maturity lifecycle and possess ability to gain understanding of current state of SOA in C&SBB. Possess depth of knowledge and background to plan and formulate next steps of SOA roadmap maturity. Should have an appreciation of associated governance models and best practices around effective SOA management.

Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems.
Ability to define and document reference architectures as blueprints for robust solution sets. Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies. Ability to analyze and learn rapidly changing technologies and apply them as a part of an integrated solution to meet business requirements. Ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and help select the most cost-effective solution. Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
