The Enterprise architect role is specifically focused on core 'Enterprise Architecture' as well as Solutions Archtiecture:
Enterprise Architecture - That is defining future state architecture, the roadmap to get there and filling the gaps (build/buy, integrate, productionize and enable the development organization to use the technologies).
Solutions Architecture - We mean architects deployed to projects from concept thru delivery to define the technology solution, assist the delivery team in being successful with the technologies (thru hands on mentoring) and governance (enforcing the enterprise architecture standards).

Title: TAO Enterprise Architect Position Type: Fulltime Regular Location: Atlanta, GA
Description:
Our growth has created a new Enterprise Architecture position with responsibilities for contributing to the vision for systems development at Chick-fil-A, Inc. and enabling that vision through hands on support and mentoring of systems delivery teams.
The Enterprise Architect will report to the Sr. Supervisor - Enterprise Technology Architecture. The Enterprise Architect will be an integral part of the Enterprise Architecture team and work closely with developers throughout the organization to mentor and equip them with the tools and guidance necessary to successfully deliver applications as well as perform hands on Java development.
Responsibilities:
*Assist in definition and continual refinement of the Chick-fil-A, Inc. Enterprise Architecture vision *Become architectural owner and knowledge expert for a specific set of technologies within the technology stack *Provide Architectural oversight to development teams thru mentoring and hands on participation *Implement solutions which enable components of the architecture (both custom and package based solutions) *Provide input to architectural designs and assist in strategic direction *Develop / Integrate framework and processes to support the Services Oriented Architecture vision for Chick-fil-A, Inc. *Maintain, enhance, and extend custom Java code as part of CFA base architecture *Assist with evaluation and implementation of new products
Minimum Qualifications:
*Required: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field of study *Required: Experience with Java application development *Required: Experience with or training on SQL and PL/SQL *Required: Hands on experience with JAVA EE, Spring, Struts, JSP, JMS, JMX, Ant, XML
Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience with identity management (LDAP, SSO, Provisioning) *Experience with Stellent Content Management system *Experience with BEA ALUI *Experience with Services Oriented Architecture *Experience with enterprise search products *Experience with UML / object modeling *Experience with structured development process such as RUP *Strength in user interface design Teamwork Capability *Good interpersonal skills: gets along well with others. *Good written and oral communication skills. *Shares knowledge readily and recognizes own need to learn. *Responds well to pressures of deadlines and client expectations *Strong sense of stewardship toward entrusted systems *Proactively monitors systems for which he/she is responsible. *Ability to prioritize tasks based on multiple priorities *Attentive to details *Strong object oriented design experience *Demonstrates motivation by exceeding expectations and seeing tasks to completion without excessive supervision *Innovative - someone who is passionate about doing things better, finding new technologies and figuring out those new technologies. *Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required *Adept at picking up new technologies *Resourceful -the ability find a solution given a technical hurdle, without much guidance.
