Moving Forward
The Capital Area Chapter is focussed on the architecture profession through the advancement of best practices and education while delivering products and services. We promote the advancement of best practices to IT architects of all levels throughout the mid-atlantic region. Started in late 2005, the Mid-Atlantic chapter is dedicated to the advancement and sharing of issues related to software architecture in both commerical and government sectors. The chapter is committed to improving the quality of IT architecture industry by arranging appropriate presentation on topics of interests, round table discussions, architecture camps, and netwroking events. Currently, major activities of the chapter are centered around the Washington, D.C. metro area. We, however, welcome active participation from other areas of the region as well. We would be happy to cater to the need of any other areas of the region.
Mission Statement
The chapter mission is fully aligned with the mission of IASA as a whole which states that IASA will be the preeminent knowledge-based association focused on the IT architecture profession through the advancement of best practices and education while delivering programs and services to develop highly qualified IT architects of all levels. IASA will rely on the following objectives in order to obtain our goals: - Education
