Cultural Architecture
Tags: certification

In my never-ending quest to understand this profession I am consistently amazed at the differences between types of practitioners. Most of my early focus was on the different 'perspectives' on how architecture is practiced based on how it was defined by individuals (engineering, development, communication, business, value, etc).

Im becoming even more curious now about how it is shaped culturally. What is the difference between a UK, Swedish, US, and Malaysian architect. Is it influenced by culture, GDP, outsourcing status, industrialization, etc.

So, finally, to my question. What do you think, if anything, is different about architects in the your country? Im more interested in the people, but if you want to discuss what is different about architecture in the UK that is good too.
