The Foundation certification is achieved by passing an exam in person at an IASA recognized certification provider locations. Whereas the Professional certification is achieved through panel interview and paper submission. As an IASA Foundation architect, you will be equipped with the foundational knowledge of being an IT Architect and you know all skills required to do the work as an IT Architect. Understanding of 5 foundational pillars will sharpen the holistic view of thinking outside the box in solving business & technical issues. In addition, you understand the value of IT in relation with business capabilities and the significant success values of an IT Architect bring to IT projects. As a Board CITA-Professional certified, you carry a prestigious title in the society that you have accomplished in your career as an IT professional through successful projects implementation that have significantly delivered business values and have also demonstrated excellence in project and organization capabilities. In addition, you have also involved actively in the society that contribute directly or indirectly to the local software economy and you have the ability to coach and mentor the next generation of IT Architects.
