About the Perspectives of the IASA 

The IASA journal is an important resource for IT architects to look to when searching for useful information and/or upcoming events to educate them on the latest architecture topics and what organizations are facing today.

Perspectives of the IASA is an electronic quarterly journal published for the purpose of influencing people how to think about software architecture.  The Perspectives of the IASA focuses on thought provoking content that will foster debate, introduce new ideas, and advance leading-edge methodologies.

Each Perspectives publication focuses on one architecture related topic to give readers a concentrated understanding of the topic discussed.  Topics from past issues have included MDA and Software Factories, How to Become a Software Architect, Data in 2005 and Software as a Service. 

About the Editor in Chief

Roger Sessions is the Editor in Chief of the Perspectives of the IASA and CEO of ObjectWatch. His ObjectWatch Newsletter is now in its ninth year of publication. He has written six books (including Software Fortresses; Modeling Enterprise Architectures) and dozens of articles. He is a world recognized authority on The Software Fortress Model and high-end enterprise architectures.
