Chapter News
IASA had operated informally in Australia for some time. IASA’s formal plans for Australia were announced at the inaugural Australian Architecture Forum in June 2007 in Sydney and Melbourne by Paul Preiss, the President of IASA. A non-profit public limited company was incorporated in Australia in July 2007 to undertake activities as the IASA organisation in Australia. IASA chapters will operate in the state capitals, starting with Melbourne and followed by the other cities progressively.
