Welcome to the Model Oriented Architecture community! We have recently launced to give better meaning and information on model oriented techniques and resources including MDA, DSLs and much more.
We had a very active audience and thus could not answer all the questions during the 20min Q&A session. While hoping many of the main issues were handled please find here replies to the specific question in a bit more detail.
A video file (WMV format) of the recording of Dr. Steven Kelly's 17 November 2009 webinar on "Domain-Specific Modeling: 76 use cases that work" is now available for download at

Lancaster University runs a project on assessing Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) practices. They want to document what factors lead some companies to succeed with MDE whereas others may fail. You can participate by filling a survey (takes 15 minutes) at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FGFTS38. Details of the reserach project is available at http://www.comp.lancs.ac.uk/~eamde
Really interesting discussion on the model driven software site:

Why do many MDD approaches fail or only produce marginal improvements, when others consistently improve productivity by a factor of 5-10? We analyzed 76 cases of Domain-Specific Modeling, spanning 15 years and 4 continents, to find the set of worst practices that reduced productivity and endangered project success. We'll show you the best and worst practices with practical examples, letting you make an informed decision on how to move your modeling to the next level.Find out how to keep your designs free from implementation details, improve communication with stakeholders, and radically improve productivity and quality. Most importantly, see how DSM keeps you in the driving seat throughout, rather than locking you in to a tool vendor's choices.

Welcome to the IASA E-Summit series. E-Summit events are an exciting addition to IASA ITARC events held all over the world. The E-Summit provides the depth of a conference without the difficulty and expense of traveling. In today's tough financial climate this series of events helps entire teams keep up to speed with the latest trends and training in architecture. Each track is customized to the primary focus and topic of the summit and represents an opportunity to grow your knowledge and capabilities in the comfort of your home or office.Read More
