The course author application form provides the opportunity for you to differentiate yourself from other course instructors. The form contains personal and professional information details as well as spaces for you to propose a description of the course as well as a recommended syllabus. Don't let these sections bother you too much. We are not looking for academic excellence but practical value. We are looking for course instructors with passion and experience in there subject matter. Look at this application as a chance to show us what YOU want architects to learn from your course not what you think WE want you to say. We have full time instructional designers to help you with a rigorous syllabus, etc. so just focus on the elements that you think should make up your course.

 

IASA has developed a full peer review process for instructor selelction. The Architect Training Committee (ATC), a member-based committee, reviews each candidate and selects the most appropriate candidate as the course instructor as well as a backup course instructor and peer-reviewers. The process of review is very professional and rigorous. As a part of the process we may contact select candidates to discuss their proposals, review with benefactors and integrate with target course curriculum.
